About Simpson Eye Physicians & surgeons
Our History
Dr. Frederick Simpson established the original Simpson Eye in Elgin, Illinois in 1945. He and his team diligently served their patients for 50 years.
The practice moved to West Dundee in 1994 (pictured above) when Dr. Kenneth Melchionna purchased the practice.
Simpson Eye expanded further into the community with the Crystal Lake office opening in 1997.
The Huntley office opened in the early 2000's at the site of the old Huntley Public Library.
In 2024, Simpson Eye Associates was rebranded as Simpson Eye Physicians & Surgeons to further identify the commitment of the practice to enhance and preserve vision through medical and surgical approaches.
Simpson Eye continues to be dedicated to serve patients for generations to come.
